MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDERS, November 2008

Dear Friends and Family:

On behalf of Bulldogs Care Foundation (BCF), we would like to sincerely thank you for supporting our mission to serve disadvantaged youth as they pursue personal development through programs in athletics, education and mentoring.  In all that we do, the Foundation seeks to embody the passion, spirit and sense of community and friendship of four Yale University Bulldogs - Kyle Burnat, Andrew Dwyer, Nick Grass and Sean Fenton - who lost their lives in a tragic car accident while attending Yale University.

BCF held its second annual fundraising event, Tip Off To Success, on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at the Altman Building in Manhattan.  The evening was a resounding success and we thank all of you who attended, as well as our wonderful sponsors for making the event possible.  We are proud to announce that funds raised from the event will support a Student-Athlete Summer Academy for disadvantaged youth in 2009.

Because of your continued support, in just two years, we have been able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many deserving youth who want to focus on their academic and athletic skills, as well as their future.  In doing so, we have provided them with a chance to grow and an opportunity to pursue a better quality of life.  We encourage everyone to give generously in support of  this wonderful cause.  With your help, we will continue to advance our mission and support disadvantaged youth as they pursue personal development through programs in athletics, education and mentoring.

Sincerely,

Bulldogs Care Foundation
